My Four Year Plan

As a student at Fayetteville State, I do believe that dreams can come true. Since I was a young man I always dream of being a successful business man. However my focus was not on education. As I continued through school my quest for knowledge grew. As a teen entering high school my teachers encouraged me to play a bigger role in my education. They gave me lot's of great advice, that changed my life completely. As four years of high school passed I obtained many things that help structure my life. My greatest influence was my parents. They really gave me a lot of confidence in my ability to accomplish my goals. One of my major goals is to be able to pay my parents for what they have done for me. So the career that I think will help me reach that goal is computer science, I also think that this is a very promising career field, that will provide me with varies opportunities in life.

As a high school senior one would be faced with many dilemmas such as choosing a college to attend. My first choose was N.C. A&T. But later I decided that Fayetteville State was better suited for my educational and personal needs. Faytteville State has opened many doors that will lead me to be a successful individual. I have learned many things in such a short period of time here at Fayetteville State. One of the many things I have learned is how to network with people. This has to be one of the most important things about college. Networking keeps you informed, and you learn so much about individuals. If I can continue to learn at this pace I do believe that I will accomplish my goals that I have set for myself.

After college I would like to live in Atlanta, Georgia. Hopefully with a great job dealing with computers. I say, hopefully because I know it's all up to me. I know that if I want to be successful theirs lot's of hard work that I must put in. While holding this nice job I would like to start a small business. After I have done both of these things I would give back to my parents as well as to my community. Then I would like to settle down and get married and get about two kids. This is what I can see myself doing in about 5 to 10 years. The only way I will consider myself a success is if I'm able to provide for my parents as well as for my family.

Five to ten years is long way from now, but I know every thing I do now will have a major affect on me later. That's why I thank God of my great study habits and my ability to stay focussed. If I can accomplish these goals in the next 5 to 10 years all this will be worth it. Since my final year of high school I have had a vision. My vision has conscessed of thes things that you haveread about. So far I've accomplished some of my small goals. If I start out accompishing the small goals the larger ones will seem much easier. I know for a fact that I will make it out of school and do something with my life, because God did not create me for nohting.
